Job Title: Companion Sitter

Location: North Carolina counties of Mecklenburg, Gaston, Cleveland, Rutherford, Lincoln, Catawba, Iredell, and Cabarrus.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable companion sitter to join our top home care agency. The companion sitter will be responsible for providing companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Engage clients in conversation, games, and other activities
- Accompany clients to appointments, social events, and other outings
- Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in home care or a related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
