Job Title: In-Home Caregiver
Job Type: Full-Rime/Part-time
Location: North Carolina counties of Mecklenburg, Gaston, Cleveland, Rutherford, Lincoln, Catawba, Iredell, and Cabarrus.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled caregiver to join our top home care agency. The caregiver will be responsible for providing personalized care to clients in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Administer medications as prescribed by a physician
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in home care or a related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
